1270 to access initial set up. We must do initial before proceding when you
get a mga for repair this way you do not need to worry; the initial erase all
the adjustment from the customers menu 1270 select initial and press ENTER
BE CAREFULL DO NOT SELECT ANY OTHER ONE.

    that you want to change ( “P00” )

4. Press 1 or 4 to select an adjustment
     that you want to change
5. Press 3 or 6 to adjust
6. Press MUTE then ENTER to set each
    adjustment

1. Turn TV on
2. Press MUTE on remote
3. Press MUTE again and hold while
    pressing MENU on TV
4. The letter S will appear on the screen to
    show that the set is in the Service mode
5. To select the adjustment that you want
     to change press  CH+  or  CH –
6.  Press  VOL+  or  VOL –  to adjust

ZENITHS

1.  Press and hold the menu button until
     the menu comes up on screen and then
     times out (5 - 10 seconds)
2.  Immediately press  9,  8,  7,  6,  Enter.
3.  The set should now be in the service menu
      mode.  To access most  of the features
     selection 00 needs to be toggled from 0 to 1
4.  After your adjustments 00 needs to be
     toggled from 1 to 0

(**) During operation, if the set is in an emergency stop mode, the display
counter
indicates the abnormal code. This code is the failure mode of the system
control.
Example: LH ''M 11S (11S is the abnormal code that indicates controller
direction cam encoder
failure).
Note: 1) The above failure code will be cleared when AC power is removed.
2) if more than one failure mode occurs, the last failure is indicated

Sharp service menu-thanks Dave Routson

Turn on receiver and use reset function in the video
> adjust menu to ensure customer controls are in their proper
> reset position.
> Momentarily short TP2001 to TP2002. The receiver will enter
> the service mode. Channel up/down button will change service
> numbers. Volume up/down button will adjust data value numbers.
> To exit the service mode turn off the power or unplug the
> receiver.
>    service no's for grayscale are S11 - Red cutoff, S12 Green
> cutoff, S13 Blue cutoff. S14 Green Gain, S15 Blue Gain. All
> parameters are 0 to 255 and it shows green gain and blue gain
> set to 128 on both.

The error codes for the Mitsubishi VCR's with the Alpha deck are as
follows.
E1 - Loading motor lock in the load direction.
E2 - Loading motor lock in the unload direction.
E3 - Drum motor lock.
E4 - Reel lock detection.
E5 - Video envelope detection.

Reset error message - Automatically after repaired or press VCR power switch
for more than 8 seconds.
